Provenance is key with regards to fine wine. The condition of wine plays a pivotal role in maintaining the value of your wine as much as your ultimate enjoyment of the wine. It is important to have your wines transported and stored in the correct conditions to maintain their provenance guarantee. We pay particular attention to every detail at every step to allow you peace of mind.
Le Clos fine wine storage
We have secured space for our customers’ reserves at Vinothèque, one of the UK’s top fine wine storage facilities, perfect for the storage of your wine collection, whether you want to drink or sell your wines. The 19th century building was originally designed as a maltings for a brewery. It was ideal for conversion to a state-of-the-art fine wine storage facility since the requirements are similar for both purposes – to minimize heat and light fluctuations. Today the metre-thick wall insulation is supported by the most advanced climate-controlled equipment to ensure the perfect cellaring conditions for your wines, maintaining constant humidity and temperature at 13˚C (+/- 1˚C), thereby maximizing the life for your wines.
Vinothèque is a facility protected with a high perimeter fence, CCTV cameras and secured around the clock by guards. It is a world class facility perfect for your wine storage.
Each wine entry at Vinothèque comes with its own unique rotation number to ensure your wines are not mixed up with others. These numbers will be shared with you once the wines have arrived in bond (landed).
Photography and condition reports are both possible, detailing individual bottles within cases if required and identified within the rotation numbers.
