Tasting Notes
Vinous 93
The 2022 Clos Saint-Martin is perfumed and floral on the nose, showing lovely definition and copious, precise red fruit. As usual, it’s lavish, but there’s complexity behind that veneer. The palate is medium-bodied with a good depth of fruit, a bit oaky at the moment though that should be subsumed with bottle age. Not a Saint-Émilion I would approach in its youth, but it should repay cellaring.
