The 2022 Belgrave has a rich and generous bouquet with complex blackberry, raspberry, scorched earth and light leathery scents. The palate is medium-bodied and lightly spiced with succulent tannins, a firm grip and a dash of black pepper on the finish. A pretty “ballsy” Belgrave, but it should age well in bottle.
