The 2022 Caillou Blanc Talbot was picked 31 August to 5 September, aged in 40% new oak. Lively on the nose, it offers lemon verbena, lemon thyme and white peach scents on the nose. The palate is well balanced with an attractive waxy texture, more pithy than recent vintages with a spicy, stem ginger tinged finish. Thoroughly enjoyable.
