The 2020 Sénéjac has a strong marine/seaweed nose that takes time to settle in the glass. Touches of black olive emerge with time, nicely defined and full of personality. The palate is medium-bodied with firm, quite edgy tannins on the entry, and graphite-infused black fruit dominates. Earthy and classic in style toward the conclusion. This is a decent, traditional Haut-Médoc, though it needs to fill out on the finish.
