James Suckling 92-93
Such gorgeous aromas of blackberries, blueberries and crushed stones. Fresh flowers, too. Medium-bodied with fine tannins and a clean, round-textured finish.
The 2020 Lafleur-Gazin had a touch more cohesion here at J-P Moueix’s offices compared to the sample tasted at home and therefore I feel it merits a higher score. Tasted at J-P Moueix in Libourne.
Anticipated maturity: 2027-2040
