James Suckling 99-100
Purple berry and blackberry aromas with cracked black pepper, violets and lavender. It’s full-bodied and layered and broadens in the mouth. Gorgeous, ripe tannins. Long and thought-provoking. A milestone for the vineyard.
The 2020 La Fleur is plump, open-knit and full of charm. Silky tannins wrap around a core of sweet red berry/plum fruit, spice, rose petal and sweet pipe tobacco. This forward Saint-Émilion offers tons of immediacy and pleasure.
Anticipated maturity: 2026-2040
