Château Hosanna, a jewel-like vineyard is located in the heart of Pomerol’s central plateau, adjacent to some of the most illustrious crus of the appellation: Lafleur to the north; Petrus to the east; La Fleur-Pétrus to the west and Vieux Château Certan to the south. At just 4.5 hectares it is not well known, due in part to its recent creation by Ets. Moueix only 20 years ago. The vineyard enjoys a terroir of red gravel and clay on “crasse de fer” which is known for producing wines of great elegance, complexity and power. The vineyard is planted 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc, a significant portion of which date back to 1956, contribute a unique complexity to the wine. In the past few years the wine has made considerable leaps in quality and after a stellar 2019 where a new bar was set, 2020 might just pip it be the best vintage ever produced.

La Grave is an under the radar property estate situated on the western side of the plateau of Pomerol. As its name indicates, the terroir of Château La Grave is almost pure gravel, marking the... beginning of a mile-long gravelly strip that continues into Saint-Émilion, passing through Château Cheval Blanc before ending at Château Figeac. The difference at Lagrave is that the vineyard is planted 100% to Merlot. The result in 2020 was a creamier style of wine, thanks to the warmer soils.Duty Status: In BondAvailability: Future Arrival
