Château Hosanna, a jewel-like vineyard is located in the heart of Pomerol’s central plateau, adjacent to some of the most illustrious crus of the appellation: Lafleur to the north; Petrus to the east; La Fleur-Pétrus to the west and Vieux Château Certan to the south. At just 4.5 hectares it is not well known, due in part to its recent creation by Ets. Moueix only 20 years ago. The vineyard enjoys a terroir of red gravel and clay on “crasse de fer” which is known for producing wines of great elegance, complexity and power. The vineyard is planted 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc, a significant portion of which date back to 1956, contribute a unique complexity to the wine. In the past few years the wine has made considerable leaps in quality and after a stellar 2019 where a new bar was set, 2020 might just pip it be the best vintage ever produced.

Château Gazin is located on the north-eastern part of the Pomerol plateau, between Châteaux Petrus, l'Evangile and Lafleur-Gazin, on a terroir of Gunzian gravel with a subsoil of blue and green... clay. The vineyard is managed with an environmentally friendly approach: ploughing by horse, organic fertilizers, minimum use of pesticides, mating disruption, manual harvests. l’Hospitalet de Gazin, the second wine of Château Gazin, has been produced since 1986 from the fruit of younger vines. In 2020 the chateau underwent a more stringent selection producing a much more interesting wine with density and complexity.Duty Status: In BondAvailability: Future Arrival
