This is really fantastic with so much intensity and focus. Firm, linear tannins frame the wine beautifully. Polished and fine. It’s full-bodied, yet tight and posed. Complex flavors of blackberry, black olive, mushroom and bark. Persistent finish. Best of
The 2020 Château du Gazin has a simple, high-toned, menthol-scented nose that needs to muster a little more refinement. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, pleasant tarry black fruit and a dash of black pepper toward the finish. This is a very decent Canon-Fronsac that should age well in bottle.
